The Events team will consider a wide range of event applications for all types of events including:
- fun days
- concerts
- sports events
- festivals
Funfair and circus applications are welcome and are reviewed by the Parks Team.
Organisers can be commercial companies or charitable organisations.
Please note new timescales for submitting an application:
- Small scale events (0-1000 attendance), must apply 14 weeks prior to the event
- Medium scale events (1000-5000 attendance) must apply 4 months prior to the event
- Large scale events, (5000+ attendance), must apply 6 months prior to the event. (only in the application window September to January)

To apply to hire a park for your proposed event
Complete and return the following documentation. Please note updated fees and charges from 2023.

Once your application has been agreed in principle, the following documentation along with a up to date Public Liability Insurance (cover for at least £5 million) must be completed and provided, if applicable:
- Designated Premises Supervisor consent form (DOCX, 60KB)
- Inflatable paperwork
- Catering paperwork
