Births, Deaths & Marriages Christmas Opening Times

A naming ceremony gives parents the opportunity to gather with family and friends to welcome their child into the family.
A naming ceremony is a special way of celebrating the birth of a child and welcoming the new arrival into the family and wider community. Naming ceremonies are secular and do not contain any religious references. They last between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the number of options chosen.
Any parent or legal guardian can make the arrangements. Parents do not need to be married and can come from any cultural background, with any or no spiritual or religious beliefs. Naming ceremonies have no legal status and are not an alternative to registering a baby's birth, which is a legal requirement.
An additional charge of £90.00 will be applied to all bookings taking place on St Valentine's Day, Christmas Eve, New year’s Eve, public holidays, and bank holiday weekends.
