The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham are looking forward to celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort which takes place on 6 May 2023.

This historic event will take place on 6-7 May, part of the Summer of festivals' Weekender, which will include the One Borough Festival, at Valence Park, Dagenham, on the grounds of the iconic Valence House. And after the success of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee event last year, we know residents will want to celebrate this remarkable occasion......and the best part? It's FREE entry!

The council is proud to host this monumental occasion, which will bring the community together to celebrate in true British fashion. The day will kick off with the screening of the Coronation, setting the perfect celebratory atmosphere for the day ahead.

We have an exceptional line-up of entertainment planned for the event, including live music, dance performances, and exciting activities for all the family. A range of food and drink stalls will also be available, offering delicious treats and refreshments for all attendees.
