London based charity, Community Links, is excited to offer a programme of population awareness of cancer in the North East London area (Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest).

The aims of the programme are:

• To support the prevention, awareness, and early diagnosis of cancer
• To make people aware of when, where, and how to seek help
• To encourage and support people to attend routine screening
• To raise awareness of cancer amongst high-risk communities and to dispel myths and misconceptions
• To make people aware of how to help prevent cancer i.e. healthy lifestyle choices
