Fun day and free drop-in clinic

Many countries are reporting increased numbers of measles cases.  With the rise of measles cases in London, including Barking & Dagenham, the NHS is advising parents to take measures to protect their children against this serious disease.  Any child aged four to 12 years who has not already received two doses of the MMR vaccine is invited to receive a free vaccination on Friday 26th July at GP Drop in clinic (Thames View Fields, behind the Thames Hub, Bastable Avenue, Barking, IG11 0LG) between 12pm and 5pm.

16 January 2024 Girls Group Project

We have been funded to deliver a specific piece of work with young women. We are specifically focussing on young women aged 15-18 who are most at risk of CCE, CSE or other forms of exploitation. They may not have met thresholds for other services, but we could be a pathway for the young women. The project will run through workshops delivered by our Club Managers who will explore and examine topics like:

  • Sex and Healthy Relationships
  • Online safety
  • Exploitation
  • County Lines
  • Violence and keeping yourself safe

As well as the workshops the project promotes engagement in positive activities such as cooking, climbing, gym, boxing, wellbeing and more.

Each participant that takes part in the project receives a free membership if they do not already have one.
