Hey, hey are you ready to play? It’s time to come out to play for National Play Day.
On Wednesday 7 August, Valence Park will be hosting National Play Day for children and families in Barking and Dagenham.
Kicking off at 11am, there will be something for all children to get involved in at the FREE event including arts and crafts, soft play, inflatables, face painting and much more.
Councillor Evelyn Carpenter, Cabinet Member for Educational Attainment and School Improvement, said: “Play is an important part of any child’s life so days like National Play Day are a wonderful way to introduce children to new and interesting aspects of play.
“I hope all our parents will bring their children along - there will be a range of great activities for all the family to get involved in and it is free.”
