Full line-up to Barking Folk Festival revealed

With under two months to go, the full line up for the Barking Folk Festival has been announced. 

 

The two-day, weekend festival taking place at Abbey Green and the Abbey Ruins will be headlined by Dreadzone on Saturday 8 June and Afro Celt Sound System on the Sunday. 

 

Other fans favourites such as Beans on Toast, Will Varley, Quiet Loner, The Demon Barbers XL, Worry Dolls and TalkingDRUM will also be taking to the stage alongside others. 

 

Kicking off at 11am at Abbey Green, festival goers will expect to experience amazing family fun including free live entertainment, arts and crafts workshops, street theatre, rides and delicious street food. 

 

As the sun starts to drop the gates will open for Abbey Ruins Live at 3pm where our world-famous entertainment will bring the historic ruins back to life. 

 

To gain entry to Abbey Ruins Live, tickets are recommended to be bought in advance. Barking and Dagenham residents can get their tickets for free by using a free code that is available in the resident’s e-newsletter ‘One Borough Newsletter’ or contact Summer of festivals via Facebook.

 

Advanced bought tickets for non-residents cost £12 for adults and £3 for children and on the day cost £15 for adults and £5 for children. We have an exclusive VIP ticket for Sunday 9 June for £39 including jump the queue access, free parking, festival picnics, drink vouchers and access to our VIP hospitality area.
