Residents of Barking and Dagenham interested in a career or jobs in the construction industry should get in touch as there a number of roles currently available.

There are vacancies for groundworkers, steel fixers, shuttering carpenters, labourers and concrete finishers all to work locally and for an immediate start.

Councillor Sade Bright, Cabinet Member for Employment, Skills and Aspiration, said: “Now more than ever we are doing all we can to ensure there are job opportunities for local people and I am glad that working with local construction companies, we have been able to find these opportunities for our residents

“I will encourage local residents interested in a job and career in the construction industry to get in touch and take advantage of these opportunities.”
