As many of us are filled with excitement for the festive period, in Barking and Dagenham there are a number of children in the care of the council who have experienced a year they will never forget. We need your help to give them a safe and loving home.



We are looking for experienced foster carers and people interested in fostering to join our team and help make a difference to the lives of our borough’s children. 



We know for some people, fostering is a step into the unknown, but our criteria to become a foster carer is simple, and as long as you are over the age of 25 with a spare bedroom you can apply to foster. But I want us to spare a moment to think about all the children who won’t have a loving festive period to provide a release to the difficult year we’ve all experienced.
