Adult College launches 2023/24 prospectus – empowering residents to be the best they can be

Residents of Barking and Dagenham can work towards achieving their lifelong learning ambitions through taking advantage of learning opportunities available from the Adult College.

This is an opportunity for residents to acquire additional knowledge, skills, qualifications and enhance their wellbeing.

Whatever your starting point or skills level, the Adult College will be able to work with you to support and empower you to grow in confidence and to develop your skills to progress on to further training, higher level qualifications or into employment.

Courses on offer range from Business Skills, Childcare, Continuous Professional Development, Construction, IT and Computing, English, ESOL, Family Learning, Maths, Health and Social Care among others.

Cllr Sade Bright, Cabinet Member for Employment, Skills and Aspiration, said: “We are committed to helping our residents be the best that they can be.

“Whether you are a full-time parent, in or out of work or just looking to pick up some new skills or qualifications, the Adult College has something to offer. There is a range of support available including general advice, information about fees and childcare costs – just get in touch.”
