Information about making a complaint about a school in the borough
Head teachers or school governors are responsible for dealing with complaints about a school in the borough.
Contact the school to make a complaint, which will be heard by a member of staff (not the staff member that is the subject of the complaint). You should receive a response within ten working days of receipt of the complaint.
If your complaint is not solved, you can raise the complaint with the head teacher. You should receive a response within ten working days of receipt of the complaint.
If your complaint is still not resolved, you can contact the chair of the governing body for the school. You should receive a response within 20 working days of receipt of the complaint.
If you are not happy that your complaint has been resolved at the end of stage 3, you can complain through GOV.UK.
