Qualified Social Worker roles within Children’s Care and Support will receive a recruitment and retention allowance of £2,500 with your first salary payment and an annual £2,500 retention payment (terms and conditions apply).

Children’s Care and Support Market Supplement – to ensure salaries are comparable to market competitors and equitable amongst the wider Children’s Social Work market some Social Work roles have an additional market supplement payment. This is as per any notice on a job advertisement.

*Consultant Social Workers receive the market supplement at each spinal column point.  The other roles receive it after they have been at the top of the grade for a year and/or when they would be eligible for a further increment above the top of the scale.

Relocation package for Social Workers
