Warnings have been issued to three local businesses after underage teenagers were able to purchase alcohol from them.

A male, who was wanted by the police, has been arrested after he was caught and issued with an Antisocial Behaviour Warning for begging by Barking and Dagenham Council’s Community Safety Enforcement Team.

Residents of Barking and Dagenham are being encouraged to attend and have their say at the council’s Safer Neighbourhood Board.

Today (Friday 19 August), Barking and Dagenham Council have launched a survey to better understand how the cost-of-living crisis is affecting residents across the borough and to help shape how the Council and its partners respond to issues such as food poverty and hardship.
