The associate commuter parking permit is available to people who work for partner organisations of the council, such as:

• NHS / London Ambulance Service
• Barking and Dagenham 14 to 19 Careers Advice Service
• Barking and Dagenham Enterprise
• Broadway Theatre
• Barking and Dagenham College
• Clinical Commissioning Group
• Metropolitan Police
• North East London Foundation Trust
• Prospects Service

The associate commuter parking permit offers full-day access to these council car parks:

• Heathway multi-storey car park (The Mall)
• London Road multi-storey car park

How to get an associate commuter permit​​

Payment is made by card via the Permitsmarti portal once staff have applied for an account and have attached a payment card. (there is no need to use a fob). 

Associates must apply with their official email address.

Once the associate commuter permit account is created and approved (notification received by email), you need to log into your (Permitsmarti) account and click the blue short-stay sessions icon (as seen below) to purchase/book the daily sessions.

Monthly associates commuter permit

There is now available online virtual monthly standard permits which enables associates to park in London Road Multi-Storey Car Park (Barking) and the Mall Car Park (Dagenham Heathway).

Payment is made by card via the Permitsmarti portal upon the approval of the application and an option to opt into a continuous payment.

Associate commuter permit terms and conditions

This permit is only available to LBBD Associate Staff

The permit is only valid for the period of the purchased session.

The Permit is valid for parking in unmarked bays at London Road Multi-Storey Car Park (Upper Level 2 and above) and the Mall Car Park
