Let us know about incidents of dog fouling
It is against the law to let your dog, or a dog you are in charge of, foul on public land without cleaning up after and putting the mess in a suitable bin. Anyone caught breaking the law in this way can be given an on the spot fixed penalty notice, which can lead to a much larger fine for non-payment or persistent offenders.
Use our form to report dog fouling. We'll use these reports to make sure the dog mess is cleaned up in our normal street or park cleaning rounds. If you know the address of the person in charge of the dog at the time, we can follow this up with enforcement action, but only if you are prepared to give evidence in court.
Use the reference number found on your confirmation email to check the status of your report.
We cannot provide you with a status update or escalate your issue without your reference number unless you have made this report via My B&D.

We have a public spaces protection order which gives us increased enforcement powers to clamp down on dog fouling in Abbey Green, Barking Park and Mayesbrook Park.
