Co-Designing B&D’s Youth Offer

We are now in the next phase of developing our Youth Offer, working closely with young people across the borough.

In collaboration with voluntary and community sector (VCS) and local authority (LA) partners, we aim to create a comprehensive Youth Offer that reflects the needs and aspirations of our young residents. 

Your input is invaluable in highlighting the array of opportunities available, fostering collaboration among partners, and inspiring our young residents.

Volunteering for the council also offers the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, meet new people and it is a pathway towards seeking employment or further education

Free holiday activities

The Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme is free to children and young people who live or go to school in Barking and Dagenham and are eligible for benefit-related free school meals, with paid places available for everyone.
