A vehicle owner has been ordered to pay more than £1,500 for failing to provide details of the driver of her car who was caught dropping a cigarette by Barking and Dagenham Council enforcement officers.

A Chadwell Heath van driver has been landed with a bill of more than £380 after being spotted throwing a cigarette out of a vehicle he was driving.

Barking and Dagenham’s community and faith organisations Al Madina Mosque, Humdum and Kingsley Hall have each been honoured with a Queen’s Award for outstanding voluntary services.
