Meal Mate - Local Business Webinar
ImagetoMeal Mate - Launching Mid July
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (in partnership with Street Tag) is pleased to announce a brand new non-profit food delivery service called ‘Meal Mate’, launching mid July.
This new app is very similar to Deliveroo, Uber Eats etc, however Meal Mate also offers subsidised meals for residents who are struggling in the borough or affected by the cost of living crisis.
We are currently looking to expand our service offer and include commercial restaurants so that customers can also order full priced meals from their local restaurant (non subsidised). We offer competitive rates and fees to our restaurants and drivers, the profits of which will be reinvested into Meal Mate to improve the service offer and offer more subsidised meals.
We are also planning to have a webinar on Tuesday 4th July 2023 at 10am for local business who are interested in Meal Mate and would like to find out more, please feel free to attend.
